Carvia Privacy Policy
Scope
This policy applies to the Carvia iOS app and support, privacy, and terms pages published on carviacartrackingapp.com or Firebase Hosting. Carvia provides personal vehicle records, fuel and charging fill-ups, mileage tracking, maintenance history, expense records, document dates, inspection tracking, local notifications, and Pro subscription features.
Data We Collect and Store
Carvia may store information such as vehicle name, brand, model, year, license plate, fuel type, mileage, fuel or charging records, maintenance records, expense records, document and inspection dates, reminder preferences, notification settings, and vehicle cover images to provide app features.
This information is stored locally on your device by default. Unless Carvia includes an account or cloud sync feature, your vehicle records are not sent to us.
Photo library and notification permissions are used only when you grant access. If you choose a vehicle cover image, the image is saved in the app's local storage.
How We Use Data
We use data to show vehicle history, create fuel and expense summaries, calculate mileage and cost per kilometer, schedule maintenance and document reminders, manage Pro access, restore purchases, and respond to support requests.
We do not sell or share data for third-party advertising tracking.
Third-Party Services
Carvia works with Apple services for App Store purchases and subscription management. RevenueCat may be used to verify Pro subscription status and manage purchase access. Web support pages may be hosted on Firebase Hosting.
These services may process limited data needed for subscription verification, purchase status, technical logs, security, and hosting.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local vehicle records remain on your device while you continue using the app. You can reset app data from the profile or settings screen, or remove local data by uninstalling the app from your device.
Deleting local data does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription. Subscriptions must be managed from Apple account settings.
If you contact support by email, your message and email address may be retained for a reasonable period to respond to your request and keep necessary support records.
Children's Privacy
Carvia is not directed to children under 13. If you believe personal data from a child under 13 has been sent to us, contact us to request deletion.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product, legal requirements, or data handling practices change. The current version is published on this page.
